Samhain Shenanigans !
Ok I admit it, this is my favourite time of year! I love
the autumnal colours, the chill that demands jumpers to be worn and the wood burner to be lit, I love the apple scented air and
just witnessing nature doing her thing.
I've gathered mushrooms and berries and really been feeling at one with the season. And now as if it could get any better it's Samhain,
my fave festival of the year! Last Saturday I was lucky enough to attend a beautiful Druid Samhain gathering, it was so special!
Having said all that I have been painting too! Lots of exhibitions to get ready for this time of year including Obsidian Gallery's fairy-tail themed winter show. Brother Wolf and Sister Moon above shall be part of the
exhibition.

Studio!
Now to business! This coming Saturday will be Nicks and my
'First Saturdays' Open Studio!
I was given this rather marvellous section of a log. Inside a raised area that resembled the
shape of a leaping fire. I applied gold leaf to that area and painted in a pair of fire worshipping wolves! Because of the natural
curve of the wood this piece is to be free standing.
'The Fire Within' and and Nicks beautiful woodland piece below can be seen along with many other pieces bullmillarts Saturday 10-5!
