Well here we are in Shaftesbury Arts Centre www.shaftesburyartscentre and jolly good it is to be back!
Nick and I set up last night, it took 5 hours and we're still speaking to each other! We've had a flurry of visitors and
a very warm welcome.
Nick is showing his new collection of drawings of Southleigh woods. I'm looking at them now hanging in the gallery and
they really are stunning. A beautiful insight into our local woodland and its fascinating history.
I'm showing an array of native and woodland creatures all on found 'wild' wood.
Tomorrow evening we stay open until 8pm and wine will be flowing, please pop in!

Not ones to sit back after an exhibition, straight into our open studio!
As our Shaftesbury show is set around our native creatures, it's nice to be able to invite more exotic beasties to our open studio. See 'Journey to
Zezzura' below! A fine piece of driftwood that had been in my wood pile for some months until a visitor with an eye for such things suggested the rust
stains left by nails in the wood appeared as foot prints in the desert, genius! So camels on a journey to the mythical city of Zezzura was born!
