    Happy Mayday chaps! I hope however you are spending it, your Mayday will be fruitful and joyful.

    Nick and I spent a week over Easter in the beautiful and wild Outer Hebrides. We sketched, explored, froze and drunk whisky (not always in that order). Whats more, we found the most amazing piece of wood I've ever worked on! Part of the bow of a rowing boat! So watch this space for a very special piece.

    With all the joys of spring in mind, once again Nick and I will be opening our studio this Saturday. I really hope you can make it ! It's also a lovely opportunity to embark on a bluebell walk in the woods behind the studio. Bring wellies and a picnic and we'll point you in the right direction!

    Nick has had his 'triptych' head on and the result is magical. He also has a series of prints underway! However our focus at the moment is the up and coming Wylye Valley Art Trail Saturday 27 May-Sunday 4 June! http://wvat.co.uk/Artists/Trail?page=38 this is the ninth Wylye Valley Art Trail, a nine day festival of visual art and craft in and around the Wylye Valley, South Wiltshire.

    A unique opportunity to see the wide range of art being created in the area; visit open studios, exhibitions and galleries, meet and talk to artists and craftspeople.
